We offer short-term respite care in Banstead and the surrounding areas when you need it. This is a great option to ensure continuity of care when the primary caregiver is away or for people who have recently been discharged from hospital.
Caregivers do amazing work, and it can be difficult to take a break without worrying about the person you look after. We’re ready to step in and provide exactly the same level of care to keep your loved one safe, supported and social.

Continuity of care
“Working at Am2pm has been one of the best choices I’ve made. It gave me opportunities to meet lovely people like my colleagues and the privilege to care for people, meeting their needs and being supportive physically, emotionally and mentally, which is the greatest blessing to humanity.”
How we can help
Take a break with peace of mind
Taking time out to rest and recharge is really important. You can’t care for someone else if you don’t look after yourself as well – that’s why we take such good care of our team. If you want to take your loved one on a trip, we can also accompany you and take over their care, so you can relax as a family.
Affordable, comprehensive care
Our respite care is affordable and flexible. We charge the same rate for short-term and long-term care, and we always provide comprehensive, personalised support. We can support people living with a range of needs and conditions.
Discharge from hospital
If you need care following a hospital stay, or you’re a social worker looking for support for a client, we help to get people rehabilitated at home. We work with local authorities to free up hospital beds and to help patients readjust to life at home.
Adapting to changing circumstances
Sometimes people need short-term care following a new diagnosis. We can be there with practical, moral or social support to help ease the transition. We cater for conditions such as dementia, mental health conditions, injuries or a recent stroke. And if you feel like you want support for longer than originally planned, that’s absolutely fine. We can extend our services for as long as you need.
